“Le Puy green lentil, a family story”<\/h1>\n

\nAt 14th years old, during a school exchange, I was offered lentil soup.<\/span><\/span> The soup was red, I did not understand, for me, there was only one kind of lentil, green lentil.<\/span> 1st surprise: unique, authentic.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

At 22nd years old, I was in a small town in the supermarket, I was desperate, there were no green lentils from Le Puy. <\/span><\/span>I had to take the train, go to Cambridge, find a delicatessen and find out that my Le Puy green lentil was a luxury product.<\/span> 2nd surprise: luxury, international.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

At 30th years old, in the south-west, the day after the wedding, the caterer wanted to please the guests and offered us a cold salad of Le Puy green lentils.<\/span> Our green lentil was a wedding dish.<\/span> 3rd surprise: gastronomy, prestige.<\/span><\/span>
\nAt 32th years old, again installed in Haute-Loire, less than 5 minutes from Sabarot, this summer during the village festival, between neighbors, we shared a very good salad of Le Puy green lentils with grilled meats.<\/span> 4th surprise: happiness, simplicity, conviviality, homecoming.<\/span><\/span>
