Product Details

Bamboo Rice 1 Kg SABAROT

Bamboo rice is round-grain rice infused with fresh bamboo extract after the abrasion and hulling process, which involves removing the rice husks. This allows the grain to more easily absorb the bamboo flavor. It combines two of Asia's most cherished plants. Bamboo rice is characterized by its unique pale green color and delicate flavor with plant notes. After cooking, bamboo rice has a moist and sticky texture. It is ideal for risottos or sushi. It can also be used as a side dish and will add a colorful and unique touch to all your dishes!

Preparation Tips

In a saucepan, place the rice in twice its volume of water and bring to a boil. Cover and let cook until the water is completely absorbed (about 15 to 17 minutes). To preserve the color, we recommend using absorption cooking methods. After cooking, the rice is pale green in color.

Je cherchais désespérément du riz bambou et en voilà enfin! Merci Sabarot!! <br /> Cuisson rapide et &quot;gluant&quot; comme j'aime. Étrange odeur d'infusion à la cuisson, mais le goût est excellent. <br /> Très copieux, une casserole de riz me fait 3 repas.
