Bamboo rice is round-grain rice infused with fresh bamboo extract after the milling and hulling process, which involves removing the rice husks. This allows the grain to absorb the bamboo flavor more easily. It thus combines two of Asia's most cherished plants.
Bamboo rice is characterized by its unique pale green color and delicate taste with plant notes.
After cooking, bamboo rice has a moist and sticky texture. It is ideal for risottos or sushi. It can also be used as a side dish and will add a colorful and unique touch to all your dishes!

In a saucepan, place the rice in twice its volume of water and bring to a boil. Cover and cook until the water is completely absorbed (about 15 to 17 minutes).
To preserve the color, we recommend favoring absorption cooking methods. After cooking, the rice is pale green in color.
